University of Professional Studies opens up to renew Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ghana Armed Forces

A delegation from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), led by the Vice-Chancellor and alumnus of Prempeh College, Professor Abednego Amartey, has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah, on Tuesday 24 September 2024, at the General Headquarters.

The meeting aimed to discuss the renewal of the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UPSA and the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) and to congratulate Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah on his promotion and appointment.

Professor Amartey commended GAF for the seamless collaboration between the two institutions and advocated for further joint efforts in developing courses tailored to the needs of GAF personnel.

Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah expressed his gratitude for the visit and reaffirmed GAF's commitment to collaborating with UPSA to broaden the scope of knowledge acquisition, particularly in light of evolving global security and intelligence dynamics.
