The President and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, John Dramani Mahama has witnessed the 45th Guard Changing Ceremony at the Jubilee House on Monday, 8 September 2025. The ceremony saw the new guards drawn from the Ghana Navy assuming guard duties at the presidency taking over from the old guards of the Ghana Army. The guard changing is to ensure the continuous vigilance and close-range security at the Jubilee House. The quarterly symbolic military tradition was marked by highly synchronized precision drills with troops drawn from section of Army, Navy or Air Force.
