Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) Senior Command and Staff course 44 has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral Seth Amoama on Tuesday 8 August 2023 at Burma Camp.

The visit led to an interactive session with the CDS at the Command Mess as part of activities outlined for the upcoming graduation of course 44 at GAFCSC.

CDS, Vice Admiral Seth Amoama in his remarks congratulated the students for successfully going through the intensive course which has equipped them with professional skill. Drawing from his extensive experiences, he shared valuable lessons at GAFCSC from being a junior student to senior student and becoming the commandant from 2016 to 2019 until he became the CDS. He asserted that, his experience at the college served as a turning point in his leadership career and life.

Vice Admiral Seth Amoama encouraged the students to be approachable, transparent, participatory and also uphold ethical standards within GAF. He urged the students not to forget their intelligence access, campaign and logistics plan which will be beneficial in their intervention plan in the future.

Commandant of GAFCSC, Major General Irvine Nii-Ayittey Aryeetey in his remarks thanked CDS on behalf of GAFCSC for hosting them. He further applauded the students for their commitment throughout the course and expressed his surety of the impact the course has had on them. He also encouraged them to be professionals in their line of duty and put to practice the knowledge acquired from the course.
