National Institute of Security Studies, Nigeria ends study tour of Ghana

Dinner has been organised for Students and faculty members of the National Institute of Security Studies, Nigeria at the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) Command Mess, Burma Camp on Friday, 21 June 2024.

The event marks the end of a week-long study tour of Ghana by Syndicate 6 of Executive Intelligence Management Course 17 of the Institute. The 23-member delegation were in Ghana to explore the country’s artificial intelligence in defence, security, and economic development.

Deputy Chief of Staff in Charge of Medical at the General Headquarters, Major General Raymond Ewusie in a short address expressed delight in the continuous relations between Ghana and Nigeria in the area of defence and security. He noted that artificial intelligence offers various possibilities for both countries hence the need to leverage on its potential.



The head of delegation, Director of Coordination and Liaison Esther Emiloye Oyeyele, expressed appreciation to GAF and the people Ghana for a warm reception and brilliant display of generosity during their stay. She intimated that the tour has been an insightful experience, one which would better place participants in a position to address the dynamic and complex security challenges with Artificial Intelligence.
